C. Brody Glenn

Brody Glenn is President of Centennial American Properties, the Greenville, South Carolina commercial real estate development and management firm founded in 1976. Since joining the company in 2002 he has directed its day-to-day operations and guided the development of more than eight million square feet of commercial space coast to coast, spanning neighborhood and community shopping centers, freestanding retail, specialty centers, mixed-use, professional office, and self-storage.

Under his leadership Centennial became a preferred developer for Walgreens, delivering stores from Washington State to Florida, and grew into the largest Trader Joe’s developer in the country. Over the past four years he has led the firm’s expansion into self-storage, opening 23 facilities with a pipeline of more than 20 additional projects nationwide.

A Greenville native, Brody chaired the City of Greenville Planning Commission from 2004 to 2012 and led many of the projects that reshaped downtown, including the Prisma Health headquarters redevelopment, EP 360, Fluor Field and The Field House, and Camperdown, the $400 million mixed-use district that anchors the city center.

He holds a degree from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and an MBA from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, and served on the University of South Carolina Board of Visitors from 2009 to 2017. He lives in Greenville with his wife, Kim, and their four children.

John McDonough

His work spans third-party operator oversight, portfolio performance and reporting, development coordination, budgeting, and initiatives aimed at operational efficiency and scalable growth.

John spent more than three decades in executive leadership and public service before joining the firm. He was City Manager for five municipalities, including Sandy Springs, Georgia, where as the city’s inaugural City Manager he helped stand up its municipal government and plan, design, and deliver more than $500 million in community improvements. He later served as City Manager and Chief Executive of Greenville, South Carolina, leading an organization of more than 1,000 employees.

He also served 26 years in the United States Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve, retiring as a Colonel.
